He has designed and delivered change programmess for organisations as substantial and diverse as: Google (UK, France, Scandinavia, Netherlands), Procter & Gamble, Centrica, Tesco, British Telecom plc, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Sir Robert Macalpine, and many others. He has worked with and been behind some of the most significant architectural projects of modern times including: The Maitreya Project – a Buddha the size of the Empire State Building, designed to last 1,000 years and built sustainably and according to spiritual principles. The European Head Quarters of NATO – helping the design team unite around a common Purpose and translate core values into design features, and helping them win the project through an intense international competition. Building Schools for the Future – helping focus teams behind a common compelling Purpose, which bring in the next stage of education in this country and which have sustainability and education at their heart. Richard acted as communications director for the successful consortia to win the projects at Tender and went on to create a common culture of effectiveness between the successful consortium and local authorities.
He has developed numerous programmes for schools and young people helping to eliminate bullying and racism. He works with Charities to help them communicate their messages and is a sought after speaker.
He is a leading developer of “Edutainment” – using entertainment media to educate and grow behaviours in adults and children. He designs and delivers a variety of media for use in training and development including interactive games, internet downloads, DVD’s and books.
His ground breaking book “What’s your Purpose?” (Hodder and Stoughton) is available in 15 countries around the world is his simplest and most profoud programme to date .
